A new exhibition by the New York City Aquacultures is set to open this week in New York, the first of its kind in the United States.
The exhibition features seafood produced by aquaculturists in the city, including a fish farm from Louisiana.
The exhibit, Aquacultural Salmon Trade, will be on view at the aquarium from July 23-30 at the New World Aquarium.
Aquaculture, the world’s largest seafood producer, is known for producing high quality fish for consumption around the world.
It is home to over 1,000 species of fish and more than 300 aquacultural operations in over 140 countries.
The company also has a plant in Shanghai, China.
